Description

Ivermectin belongs to the group of avermectins and acts against roundworms and parasites.

Indications

Treatment and control of internal and external parasites, such as round worms, leeches and tick in cattle with long-term effect (up to 75 days).

Contra indications

Administration to lactating animals.

Side effects

When ivermectin comes in contact with soil, it readily and tightly binds to the soil and becomes inactive over time.
Free ivermectin may adversely affect fish and some water born organisms on which they feed.

Dosage

For subcutaneous administration.
Cattle: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight.

Withdrawal times

– For meat :

  Cattle      :   122 days.

Packaging

Vial of 50 ml, 100 ml and 500 ml.
